Social Media for Sensitive People
A 5-week live talk for coaches, therapists and empathic entrepreneurs who want to share their work online in a way that’s authentic and actually breaks through.
This is about sharing how I focused on my energy and learned how to communicate what I cared about in a new way, and how that shift led to 450,000 people finding and following me on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
A Conversation About Social Media Creation for Sensitive Folks
Hey - thanks for checking this out. Over the past couple years I’ve been quietly mentoring a group of coaches and therapists on how I think about using social media and the specific shifts that helped me put myself out there and find my people.
And after some very positive feedback in recent, this idea was born: I’d like to teach this publicly for the first time. To talk about how I approach social media and how I write for these platforms in order to get out of low-view jail and actually reach folks with some consistency.
Over the years I feel I’ve figured some things out that I haven’t seen elsewhere, and rarely do I see anyone sharing ideas specifically designed for highly sensitive, empathic, holistic/spiritually oriented folks who simply can’t do all the things people say you’re supposed to do.
So that’s what this series is about: How I had to create my own roadmap when there wasn’t one as a disorganized person with issues with focus and dyslexia and a trauma story related to being seen, who is depressed about technology and reluctant about entrepreneurship, and was able to figure out how to use social media despite a lot of shortcomings.
And how I did this even though…
I’ve never posted every day (and never have the energy to)
I barely follow trends
I don’t have a content calendar
I’m not particularly natural on camera
I started from a place of being generally suspicious about social media.
Social media has changed my life. It’s filled my coaching practice, it’s resulted in book offers and publisher partnerships, and it’s enabled me to live and work in nature in a way that supports my healing and my nervous system.
None of this was expected. Most people like me struggle with these platforms and actively resist them. If that’s you I empathize with that, I really do.
With this in mind, I’ve created this summer workshop series to demystify the platforms and share what I think actually matters if you want to share something of depth with the world. To give you ideas and strategies for swimming against the current of superficial or repetitive AI-generated content to find your people.
I’m excited for this one,
Nick
P.S. This is for people of all experience levels and will benefit newcomers as well as seasoned content creators.
What You’ll Recieve
A grounded way to think about social media that works for sensitive, heart-centered people who typically struggle with these platforms. One in which I push you to find your truth and your way instead of just adopting mine.
A conversation about the energy behind your content - why it really does matter, and ideas for how to better communicate it.
Worksheets and prompts that you can use during and after the series to that help you take your ideas and get them into formats that work on these platforms. In other words, I’m showing you how I evaluate my content and decide when something is ready to post or needs more work.
Guidance on facing the downsides of being visible - including ideas for being prepared for criticism, bullying, and how your own trauma story can sabotage you (I have so much to say).
Live coaching and Q&A in the group on content creation and meeting challenges.
A discussion about artificial intelligence and how I’m preparing for its current and future impact on social media.
And most importantly, a way of thinking about communication that’s going to make you more effective on social, in email and in general.
Dates:
Five Workshops: Tuesdays from 1pm EST to 2:30pm EST (10am PST, 6pm UK GMT)
July 15th | How I got here and what actually works:
How I got started, the mindset I adopted with my shortcomings, the key moments when things started to click, and ways of working with the ever present fear of being seen.
July 22nd | Fundamentals of good communication before trends:
Focusing on the fundamentals and how it helps you reach people even as algorithms constantly change and trends come and go. Here’s where we dive into ways of taking initial ideas to finished content while dealing with the fear of failure.
July 29th | Understanding what catches people’s attention and resonates on any platform:
A deeper dive into what people stop and pay attention to and how to deliver messages of depth on platforms that promote the superficial. Here we will also touch on how social media surfaces your shame and possible trauma stories that can sabotage you.
August 5th | Refining your mindset, coming back to what matters to you:
Learning to listen to what people say they need and putting yourself in their shoes. The importance of coming back to your intuition when in doubt. And a discussion about AI and how it can support or seriously dilute what you’re doing if you’re not careful.
August 12th | Staying grounded in your values and putting the phone down:
We land this series with encouragement to take risks and put yourself out there. Talking about the future of social media and how I’m preparing. More messaging and content strategies to help you frame what you want to say. And how important it is to put the phone down as a sensitive person.
*Note* This curriculum is subject to small changes based on participant Q&A and how the series organically flows
Lifetime Access To The Recordings For Everyone
Every participant gets lifetime access to the recordings and you’ll be given a form to submit questions even if you can’t show up live. This way you get to participate in the Q&A even if time zones or schedules mean you can’t be there.
Bonus Option
I’ve opened up a few spots for private 1:1 coaching hour option for those who would like to do a deep dive on their existing brand/business or ideas they have for sharing content via social media. They are first-come first serve.
With these meetings I’ll pre-review your website/posts before we speak and then come with ideas of how to hone your message and present your wisdom in ways that are tailored to you. Again, the goal here to help you develop a strategy that’s not built on the whims of today’s algorithms. It’s to focus on the fundamentals of impactful communication and how this will support you regardless of current trends.

People who want to use social media to communicate a message or promote a business. This also will be deeply helpful for those who are active on social already, have built an audience, and already have had success.
-
Someone who needs a dedicated series that focuses solely on working through the fear of being seen. I will talk about this fear throughout this program and how I work with it every day. But I have so much to say about how to use social media and the tools and strategies you should consider that you may still want more about the fear of being seen before you get there.
